CALIBRATION UNITS

A fundamental element in any extrusion line, it provides the means to give the molten material its definitive shape by managing the form of the profile in the best possible way, within a calibration system

Its length, the number and power of vacuum pumps and the cooling water depend on the type of profile and base material with which the product is being made

It can be operated manually or electrically

TeKnomast has several types of calibration unit in its range, to meet the customer’s specific needs

The quality of the profile is maintained by appropriate dimensioning and the fact that the unit is equipped with vacuum pumps, water distributors and vacuum distributors, duly calibrated based on the production needs and product dimensions

It is possible to equip the unit with electric motion callipers for main movements, while final adjustments always rely on the sensitivity of the operator’s own hands
